Guest speaker and independent education law consultant Iain Nisbet will cover:

Iain is an independent education law consultant, with particular expertise and interest in additional support needs law and equality law in education and the implications of GIRFEC for schools. He is the principal author of “A-Z of Scots Education Law – A guide for parents”, published by Consumer Focus Scotland. He is the Convener of the School Closure Review Panels, and a member of the attendance council in his local area. Iain works as a consultant solicitor with Cairn Legal, representing parents, pupils, students and voluntary organisations in all aspects of education law.
