Every year Highland Council offers a ‘per-pupil’ admin support grant to Parent Councils. You can still apply for the 2018-2019 grant but the Council has to receive the application by 7 April 2019. For smaller schools the grant is generally around £50, but for larger ones it can be £300 or more.
So far 43 Parent Councils have not claimed – one is due £231. The total on offer but not yet applied for is almost £3500 – money intended for admin support but available for your Parent Council to use for essentially any purpose within its Constitution.
