Google groups can be likened to bulletin boards, where group members can see and interact, via posts, within the topic of the “post”.
The Highland Parent Council Partnership has a group created for it called “Parent Council Forum”.
When a new “post” is added to this group an email alert is sent out to all members of the group.
[NB: If you cannot see the Google group in your Google menu, or access the “Parent Council Forum” group then your own Parent Council Googlemail account may not have accepted an earlier invitation to join this group. In this instance we recommend emailing firstname.lastname@example.org to request a new invitation is sent to your Googlemail account)
Step 1: Click the Apps grid icon up the top right of any Google Apps page and then select Groups
Step 2: Click My groups (My groups shows the list of groups that you are a member of)
Step 3: You now have access to the Google group and are able to access and reply to existing topics and create new “topics”.
